Was very disappointed in the Mark Addy 'famous' cheese board.
I sometimes pop to the Mark Addy in Manchester for the 'famous' cheese board. The idea is for mates to congregate with wine and a gall bladder busting amount of cheese, literally, you would have to bring a doggy bag, all for abour 6 spond. For some bizarre reason they've cut the amount of cheese and bread about 10 fold. A sad day. Everything is wrong. I'm going to draft a stiff letter. If you've ever been to this establishment and feel the same way I'd recommend you do the same, forget that letter to your MP, this is more important.
Norman is looking very glum and the poor response from the Mark Addy won't help his mood!

I've heard of the vast amounts of cheese you got here but never ordered it myself. Now it's too late, boo hoo.
ReplyDeleteI sent an email complaining and they said they've changed to more expensive 'artisinal' cheese makers. Either I'm being a greedy pleb or they're a bunch of ponces. They did offer a complimentary glass of wine when I'm next there tho..
