Stamp Quest

Well, you may have guessed that drawing's taken a back seat recently. I've been busy writing games for the ZX Spectrum.

I've updated my Norman game into a faster, more fluid machine code game: Stamp Quest. It's available on the World of Spectrum Website and there's a video walkthrough at the RZX Archive (played by ZX SPin). Details of how to ply the game are in my Norman post. Best played (if using Spin) in 128k mode so you can hear the sound and with flashload off so you can see the loading screen appear. It plays too fast on some PCs, so you may want to slow the emulation down, I can vouch that the speed is correct for a real rubber keyed speccy.

I will be drawing again, I've not been enjoying planning the big projects of late, so there'll be some smaller stuff.

This one slams the cover, presumably it's a bit pristine. I'll take the blame as I chose this from a large & selection from Ant Merker's repertoire. The font was a technical compromise at the last minute before a print deadline.

Having said all this I like the cover!

I've been a bit slow on this one, Gin Palace 2 is out. I reckon this anthology is one of the best small press anthologies out there. On sale at Rob Jackson's site. Lots of good stuff here.
