The work anthology

There's a new anthology on the horizon, with a deadline for submissions of April 2010, it's the Brave Brave Idiots anthology conceived by Anthony Merker. It's theme is the daily grind many comic artists go through in order to pay the bills and how we fit writing and drawing into it. I think Ant may have captured the zeitgeist with this idea, as it will ring true with many in the field. Speaking for myself, I've finally found a job I'm happy with, but there have been plenty of stinkers on the way, A wood preservative factory caked with Arsenic, Heinz foods (which was fine in itself, but I don't miss tasting the dried onion flakes in the morning), and a particularly dreadful experience as a secondary school technician amongst others (the first and hopefully last job I will walk out of). So hopefully I'll be able to get plenty of ideas. Here's Ant's mission statement and flyers.
So down those keyboards, clipboards, heavy machinery or pipettes, find a cosy place to hide and get writing!
