Alright. Project Bittern is not going very well. My mates, who also made the same resolution to see a Bittern this year, have seen one on two separate occasions. I just can't understand why I've not seen one, it can't be anything to do with the fact I've not been to Leighton Moss to look for them, it's just not fair.By the same token, I've not seen any of the birds pictured, they are les oiseaux de Quebec, and I've never been to Quebec...
